How does the 100-night sleep trial work?

Every Leesa mattress comes with a 100-night trial. After 30 days of sleeping on your new mattress, if you're not happy with your purchase, the friendly folks on our Support team can help walk you through the process of returning and refunding.

Whenever possible, we donate any returned mattresses to a 501(c)(3) organization or one of our charity partners. One of Leesa's missions is to be a positive force in the world, so if we can donate a mattress in good condition rather than disposing of it in a landfill, that's the route we're going to take.

What’s your return policy?

If you decide a product isn’t the perfect fit, no problem! Here’s how our return policy works:

  • Mattresses: Eligible for a return between nights 31 and 100 of your trial. We allow up to two mattress returns per household.
  • Foundations, frames, and bedding: Returns are accepted within 30 nights.
  • Adjustable bases: Returns are accepted within 30 nights while the base is still in the box.

Even though our mattresses won’t fit back in the original box once opened—we’ve got you covered. Our Comfort Crew will coordinate pickup of your mattress, and once the pickup is confirmed, we’ll refund your full purchase price. For our Alaska, Hawaii and Canadian customers, there’s a $100 fee for returns to cover pick-up and transportation.

Do I need to keep the box to make a return?

Nope! We know mattresses don’t fit back in the box once they’re out. For returns, our team will arrange pickup right from your room—no repackaging or heavy lifting required.

Can I exchange my mattress?

Yes! We want you to love your Leesa products! Whether you would like to make a direct swap or return and reorder a new mattress, we can help you with the process. It’s quick and simple! Contact our Comfort Crew to get started. Remember, returns must be within the trial period—we’ll help with the rest!

When will I receive my refund?

We're here to make the refund process as smooth as possible! If your refund includes a mattress pickup, you’ll receive an email from our Comfort Crew with instructions on how to get your refund processed. This usually includes taking a picture of your donation receipt and emailing it to us.

Once we’ve received your donation receipt or returned item, refunds typically take about 5-10 business days to process. Once the refund is issued, your bank or card provider may take a few additional days to post it to your account.

What happens to returned mattresses?

We work with local nonprofits and charitable organizations to donate returned mattresses whenever possible. So even if it’s not the right fit for you, it can still make a big impact.
